Question 2017 Caravan GT Mods

Hey all,

My first post here, so go easy on me.

I am looking to have some fun with my 2017 GC GT package (black w/ blackout package and red/black interior trim).

I'd like to get a 10 or so HP boost but not break my manufacturer warranty.

Mainly want to beat mid-2000s V6 Mustangs off the line just for a laugh.

Are there any known ram/cold air intakes, exhausts, or other mods that can be done on a Caravan without breaking my warranty (powertrain)?

Thanks!

- QZ

Cold air intakes wont do a thing but make noise. Freeing up the exhaust may gain you some throttle response. You won't even notice a 10 hp increase. It's a minivan.

Yea I'm not aiming for anything crazy - just want to open it up a bit - it sounds silly but there's a ton of v6 mustangs in my area and I'd love to have a Caravan that can beat them off a red light, lol

You may just need to wait to waste the Mustangs until your warranty expires. Aftermarket/non-factory mods are one of the first things they will use to deny warranty claims, regardless of how innocent it might seem.

Get down and dirty with the fine print of your warranty if you want to know what’s acceptable. I doubt you’ll find much that is.
