My 2009 Grand Caravan is off, in park, the steering wheel won’t locked and the van won’t start. FYI.. no matter how much I turn the steering wheel left or right it’s still won’t lock. On occasion, cranking the steering wheel left or right, I’m able to get the car out of park and in to neutral but still won’t start. The battery is newer and fully charged. All the electrical accessories work and the key fab battery is good.
Quick google searches noted that it may be because a cog that fits in the Detent is broken or the detent is worn out. I am looking for any advice on the problem and how to fix it.. Thank You in advance for your help..
