Default Help identifying part / par no

Hello fellow forum memebrs.

I really need help identifying this mount as I can't seem to find out exactly what it is.

I believe it's an alternator / engine mount.

The alternator is bolted to it. Just noticed it has a crack and want to replace asap.

Thank you !

I can’t recall the exact name, but it’s something to the effect of “engine torque strut.” What’s the year and engine of your caravan? I can verify it.

It's a 2005 Grand Caravan SXT with the 3.8l engine in it.

If you can give me any info, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!

Just wanted to let you know I’ve been trying to figure this out but the service information I normally access from home seems to be having problems so I haven’t been able to verify the name/part# for this. I’ve tried looking on several websites but this doesn’t appear to be classified as a mount or mount bracket so not having much luck there.

Zooming in, I see what looks to be a part# stamped on it - can you read it or clean it up and post another pic? That may help.

I will try looking at my service info tomorrow at work unless you find it sooner.

Well I apologize for the false hope. I’ve done quite a bit of digging for this and haven’t found anything - I must be wrong about its technical name, but even looking at diagrams of the front or the engine, I’m not seeing this bracket.

You may just have to drive it to the dealer and ask the service dept to identify it.
