[5th Gen : 08+]: Low fuel light and warning don't come on
Hey all, I have a weird problem with my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan.
The low fuel warning light (and ding) doesn't come on. The fuel gauge works fine, and the light itself is also ok because it comes up during self test on ignition.
The Distance-Until-Empty data display works, and will show LOW FUEL when it's less then 50km or so, but there is no DING and the low-fuel light doesn't lite up.
Any ideas?

Everything the cluster does is logic controlled. The fuel level signal is first received by the TIPM (engine bay fuse panel) and then sent to the cluster via data circuit.
Given that the light works during the bulb check and the low fuel message also comes on at the appropriate time, it’s most likely an internal problem with the cluster. They can be repaired - you’ll have to search for a place that can repair them local to you.
Does the chime operate normally with other warnings, such as the seat belt or key in the ignition?
