A co-worker of mine has (had) a pretty nice 2011 that suddenly developed a trans issue and rather than have it fixed, he sold it to me for cheap cheap and just bought his wife another ride.. I flip a few vehicles here and there.

The story is that it takes off in 3rd, holds 3rd up to about 40 or 45 and at that point it goes into limp mode.The van has just under 150k miles and has been pretty well maintained. He had a shop check it and they told him that the pump pressure was low.. which doesn't make sense. If the pressure were that low, it wouldn't move at all. I should be getting back to my place this weekend and at that point I'll start pulling codes and checking things out.

Just thought I'd check to see if anyone has dealt with anything like this.

Sound like you've got a bad solenoid pack.
