Default Clicking while closing the Passenger Sliding Door

I noticed this odd issue with my 17 Grand Caravan. When the ignition is on (van running), I can open the passenger sliding door from the overhead buttons and close it. When the door closes, it clicks 3 - 4 times. But when the van is turned off, the clicking does not occure. At first I was thinking, it was a worn or bad component. But why would it only occurs when the van is running? It's almost like it's not fully closing or a sensor is not detecting it fully closed. But then again, why only when the van is running?

Hi dagr8tim, We certainly understand why this may be concerning. We kindly recommend having your dealer inspect this concern for you as they are in the best position to assist. If you do work with your dealer, we would be more than happy to provide you with additional support.
