[5th Gen : 08+]: No Key Fob
I bought a used 2011 Dodge Grand caravan that had no key fob.... Dealership wants $400 for a new one and program it. But I can buy a key fob online for $70 but everything I read only tells me how to program a second key fob. I can't find anything to tell me how to program a key fob without having an original.
Dorman Solutions have Dodge and Chrysler KEY FOB with OBD II reader to program the FOB for the do it yourself.

I know this is an older post but just in case, please do not spend $70 on a keyfob. While some aftermarket key fobs are junk, you can buy 3-4 and still spend less money than $70 for one and will end up with a good one (buy from different sources on Ebay). I have purchased many keyfobs for Caravan's and T&C's... have owned 7 different vans (used for delivery). I've only had one seller out of at least 5 that sent me two keyfobs that didn't work.
And I have used that Dorman programmer that is mentioned above. I found the cheapest price I could on eBay and it worked perfectly even though I did not have an existing keyfob. And you don't have to use Dorman brand keyfobs later on if you need to program more.
