Default 2001 Dodge Caravan stuck in Limp Mode.

I saw this in a post earlier, but I will try here for answers. I have a 2001 dodge caravan that I bought the beginning of May. The seller changed the driver side break line before he sold it to me (told me he wouldnt let any of his kids drive it like that. So he wanted to fix it before he brought it to me.) Anyways, it has been stuck in 'limp mode for a while. We scanned it today and code p0700 and p0605 came up. The shift silinoid has been changed along with the ECM computer- which was programmed for this particular car using vin number. My brother has checked the brakes a few times and when I looked it up today it said could possibly be speed sensor? The ABS lights are on the dash, as well as emergency brake light and sometimes airbag. The brake on driver side doesnt have a spring clip/pin to hold it on and shortly after purchase the tire was actually in the process of coming off. (Checked it in time thankfully) From what I have found, its a safety feature if it detects something is amiss. I'm sorry this is long, im hoping for some answers from the experts on here, lol.
Thanks!

I just got done fighting transmission trouble on a 2003 Caravan. Most of the time the van would stay stuck in 3rd gear. Though it would shift OK and start in 1st at the beginning of the day when the engine was cold. Then it would act like it was in limp mode. And the van would lunge at a stoplight. And on the rare occasion it would shift down it would do it violently. I also noticed the speedometer would bounce around while sitting still but with the transmissions engaged. I had p0700 and codes for both sensors. I replaced the transmission solenoid from a good parts van I have, No change.

I deliver mail out of this van so I leave the lights on all day and stop very often around town so it doesn't really have time to fully charge the battery. But I had no issues with starting or lights getting dim or anything. And no battery light. So what's the most logical thing to look at that's causing my transmission problems? Obviously that would be the alternator.

I replaced the alternator from my parts van and the transmission drives and shifts perfectly now. I've read similar stories about a flaky alternator that doesn't go over 12.5 volts causing transmission troubles.
