Default 2013 transmission removal

I have a cracked flex plate so looking to see if I can do it myself. I am wondering if anyone has a very detailed video or description of how hard it is to take off the transmission. I watched one video and the guy took off part of the main frame. I went and bought all the parts and oils but am having second thoughts now. Any help would be great. Thanks

Well usually when one is starting to have second though about doing a task or job means that he doesn't really know what he's about get into I can assure you this is not an easy job for any weekend backyard mechanic. Unless you have the proper tools like a lift and transmission jack impact gun i wouldn't attempt it there's too much that can go wrong you need to take the axle shafts out some the can be hard to pry out if you're not careful you can crack the casing of transmission or if don't have the a proper transmission jack and the unit slips off and hit the floor it could crack the casing. There's quite bit of stuff to remove before there's cross member underneath a motor mount. cooling lines

Go check with transmission shop and ask them for a quote to replace you flexplate these guys can take most transmission out with their eyes close as they do so many of them when I had my transmission rebuilt the guy had it out and on the bench in 1,5 hours
