[5th Gen : 08+]: 1st Time Owner...did I make an expensive mistake?
Hi Everyone,
I have just picked up a 2020 Caravan GT for my first ever minivan, my family of 4 don't quite fit in my focus hatchback so well so we decided to go bigger but Im starting to think I jumped the gun and made the wrong choice in the caravan gt. I notice the Uconnect system doesn't match what I've seen in other pictures online and looks to be the exact same system a friend has in his 2010 model, My other cars are a 2014 focus and a 2017 Sorento and both have very modern systems compared to this. Is there anything I can do to bring this system into this decade? Might be another silly question but is it possible to play videos from usb for the second row screens or am I limited to dvd?

The Grand Caravan GT should have Uconnect 430n RHB radio in it I believe it been around for sometime now you can go to the Uconnect website for updates and tutorials videos. You can use the 2 USB and the HDMI inputs on the rear panel for the rear screens for video games or movies.
The radio isn't the best but the wiring is all in place for an aftermarket head unit to used the backup cam, gps, hard drive, rear screen, etc. The door speakers have good base but lousy treble. For the price you paid since it's the last year of the vehicle I assume you didn't make a mistake. Media, tire, and wheels are all easy to change. The rest of the vehicle is where the value is. Did you pay $25 or less?
