I have 2014 Dodge Caravan. I heard some flapping under the hood while driving and trying to find a source i saw this hose. The moment i touched it, it felt down so i reconnected it to, what i presume is a drain plug at the top of the compartment. Is it supposed to go anywhere or is its function to just drip whatever, i presume rain water (?), into the engine compartment?

 

Probably a condensate drain for the air conditioning evaporator.
