Hello All,

I have Dodge grand caravan 2015. I suspect a transmission problem.

I realized abnormal shifting at 2000 RMP forward and hesitation . But, nothing displayed on dashboard.

I visited the dealership few times and no conclusion from dealership cause no error code displayed.

I know the above is not accurate technical description.

My question: is it possible that transmission programming could disable displaying transmission error codes?

The rational here: avoid warranty repairs by dealership

There was several flash updates for the 62 TE transmission surely your dealer would check to make sure that you have the latest software update installed on your van.
It's highly unlikely that there's a program that would purposely omit error codes from being displayed.
