Default Remove Input Speed Sensor

Hi Guys. I'm new here and I have a really annoying problem. I'm having trouble removing the electrical connector on the Input Speed Sensor on my 2004 Grand Caravan. I keep reading how "easy" it is to remove but it won't budge. I've tried squeezing the end and pulling it off as was suggested but no dice. I've tried lifting up on the long tab and sliding out but that doesn't work either. How do you do it??? I absolutely hate these jobs that shouldn't take 5 mins to do and they end up taking up an afternoon.

My big problem is my van is in limp mode. For several months, when I would cold start my van, it would take a few minutes for it to warm up before it would shift normally. Once it warmed up, it was fine. Now it when it shifts, it won't shift any further. To fix the problem, I bought a new solenoid panel and the input and output speed sensors. Problem is, I can't get the dang electrical connector off to unscrew it!

Ok, I finally did manage to replace both the input and output speed sensors but it had no effect on my van being in Limp Mode. Next thing to try is replacing the TCM panel.
