[5th Gen : 08+]: Fair trade in price
Can anyone tell me what is a fair trade in amount for my Dodge 2010 Grand Caravan SXT.
Apparently there is some rust, I don't know about way underneath, but there is some at the
bottom of the slider doors.

This is a weird time in history. The dealer lots are so empty they have been parking cars diagonal (here in St Louis) to make it look like they aren't out of inventory. So don't look at KBB or just let 1 dealer make you an offer. Go to websites and find similar vans, note their price, see if they are gone within a day, a week, 2 weeks. If the price you saw moved those other vans then take that info to a dealer and tell the what you want. If you really have rust at the bottom of a door that's a big no no for buyers. Even if that's just 1 spot the buyer assumes the whole undercarriage is rusted as they aren't going to look. Those doors are in that color in salvage yards near you. REPLACE that door and you will add thousands to your asking price.
Dig your feet in on the price you want. Be prepared to walk and even walk away. They will call you when they think they have a buyer they can turn a profit on based on your price. If they are moving then your van will too. If after a week nobody moves on you price, well then it is time to lower your price $500 or so. If you are patient you will get top dollar. BUT they have limited vehicles so they are also going to ask too much for what they have. So keep that in mind that if you don't get your top dollar then you are still going to pay top dollar. Supply is low and demand is still high as everyone just got a big fat government check. You might even wait a few months for demand to drop.
