Hi, Im new.

My CEL came on, ran the codes and got the following

P1684 & P0456

I cant find a good list to figure the codes out.

P1684 Battery was disconnected within the last 50 starts
P0456 A small leak has been detected in the evaporative system

P1684 Battery was disconnected.

P0456 Check all of the vacuum lines that run from the canister under the vehicle up to the engine, they usually have cracks in them.

 

P0456 most times the gas cap is bad or not turned in far enough to the "click".

Try removing the the cap and re-installing it before you buy anything...

To clear that code right away, remove neg side of battery then turn the
key to start for a few seconds... Re-connect battery. If code P0456 comes
back right way, replace the cap BUT also look around what others told you
to do.
