04 Caravan Stuck in Park
Hello all,
I have a 04 Dodge Caravan that has been working just fine for the last 3 yrs.
The issue I have now is that the van gets stuck in park when I try to start it up
and drive. I do step on the brake (out of habit more than anything) and then it
starts up. The problem is that I can't get it out of park after starting it. It happen
twice today. The first time, it happened and then I went shopping to kill a little
time. Came back and it started. I went to another store and shopped. Came
out and it got stuck again. I went to get something for lunch, came back and it
wouldn't get unstuck. I ended up walking and taking the subway to get back
home.
I did a little searching around, you guys came up first. Saw a few videos and
this one seems the closest to what I might try next.
Anyone have any other suggestions I might try, or how to get this repaired?
