[5th Gen : 08+]: No head lamps no door ajar no keyless entry
Hello my first post here I have a 2013 dodge grand caravan crew 280,000 klm
My first problem was no headlamps removed and tested switch resistance it seemed okay when switch was turned on it showed on instrument cluster only day time running lights came on
. If i unlocked the doors with fobik the headlamps would come on but shut off after the vehicle started. A week later the van stopped responding to all three of my fobiks and when i opened the door with key the alarm sounded
The van starts normally radio, unconnect, wipers frnt and rear, turn signals, parking lights, domelights dashlights ,door locks, windows, power doors, hatch,,climate control, mirror adjustment.... everything but headlights and keyless entry worked.
I looked through forums and youtube most pointed to tipm so i sent it out to get rebuilt i figured high mileage and all the complaints.
I reinstalled the rebuilt TIPM di d and hard reset overnight tying the battery cables together and still no lights keyless entry and now door ajar sensor not working on the drivers side so i pulled the drivers side door panel Unplugged the door module ran a scan with my obdII bluedriver tool it recorded the fault lost com with drivers side door module .I plugged the module back in and cleared the faults then ran the scan again o fault codes .
All controls for the door work windows locks mirrors execpt the door ajar sensor I checked the flex joint wires and no cracks or breaks visible.
When i turn the ignition on to run (not starting the engine) the headlamps turn on with switch i get High beam low beam fog lamps running lights.
As soon as i actually start the engine the headlamps shut off
My question is where do i go next win module, drivers side door latch , drivers side control module, bad ground somewhere, maybe a bad rebuild of the TIPM my obdII scan tool is not recording any faults at all and does any one have a diagram of the module structure for this and a wring diagram would be helpful
