Question 2005 3.3 Won't Start When It's Cold Out?

...And by cold, I mean under 90F at this point. Replaced fuel pump two weeks ago for obvious fuel leak with new Denso pump. All good until about two days ago, then no start when leaving work (late night). Go back next day around noon to investigate, fires right up. Next morning, no start- until about noon when temp was about 90ish.

Fuel pump relay and fuse are both good, but doesn't sound like the pump is coming on with key on. Will start on carb cleaner, but dies when the sauce runs out. Temp has not gotten warm enough yet today to test 90 degree theory, but...?

Anybody know if the Idle Air Control plays with fuel? This is confusing me, mostly the air temperature aspect of it.

Thanks for any help or insights.

Default Bad fuel pump

It ended up being a bad fuel pump. The weather was a red herring. Ordered a replacement from amazon, dropped the tank for the second time in three weeks and now everything is back to normal. Hopefully this one works out better than the first one. Just goes to show that new doesn't always mean good.
