Hi all,

New member here. While cleaning out the cowl vents, i found a piece of sealing tape about 2.5 x 8.5 inches, black on one side, silver on the other, with a layer of black sealant on it. Imprinted into the sealant is about 3/4 of a hole that it must be there to seal up. it came from the area rear of the battery. Problem is I can't find out where it goes, and the dealer didn't know either. Anyone know where it goes? thanks!

 

well, i finally found it with a mirror. You know how it goes, post a question then you find the answer right after! it goes up above the open end of the shock tower, on the plastic above it. For the life of me thought I can't discern a reason for it being there.
