2015 GrandCaravan Uconnect 130 with audio problem - at first the AM/FM stopped, but the Satellite worked for a while…now I hear audio for 3 seconds then off for 2 seconds ( is a video of problem)

i removed the fuse for a couple hours, but no reset.

I’ve attempted the factory reset published elsewhere in this forum: put key on ACC, press voice and phone buttons together for 30 seconds, turn off key and open door for 30 seconds. No improvement.

I followed the instructions on driveUconnect.com/software-update, but USB connection did not spark an update.

I called Uconnect who suggested a trip to the dealer - sounds expensive.

any advice.

 

Great news, I was able to update the software, with the help of Kassandra at uConnect.

Bad news, it didn’t fix the radio problem.

i took the car to the dealer. They want $190 just to look at the problem, but could not give me a price to replace the radio, or if parts were even available. I needed to make an appointment to spend the $190.

going to Walmart: but there is no human to talk to….frustrated. Pioneer.
