[5th Gen : 08+]: battery drain soooo fast
I have a dodge caravan 2008. recently I changed the alternator for it and the van was running smoothly. a couple of weeks after that battery starts to drain frequently until it starts to die instantly not even overnight.
I changed the alternator again and think it is a bad alternator and it is the same problem. the battery was tested by Canadian tire and they said it is fine and no bad cells were reported. I drove the van for an hour and turned it off the van was able to start but when I left it for 1 hour it did not start and I had to jump-start the van.
No single time after that I was able to turn the van on without a jump start.
I was thinking it is a parasitic withdrawal but could that drain the battery so fast?
any suggestions?
