Default Shifter **** spring missing on 2010 Grand Caravan SE

I'm missing the steel spring out of the shifter **** for my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 L. I tried ordering the part but it is discontinued.

The button and **** are fine but without the spring it makes shifting cumbersome.

Is there a spring from a Chrysler Town & Country I could use?

If I look online or at a hardware store for a compression spring- What size would I need?

Any help or tips are appreciated.

Default Shifter **** Spring

Hi,
My shifter loosened over time because the hex key came loose. I pulled the shifter **** off and the chrome button popped out and the spring fell into a crack in the console.
There is know replacement spring available. They do not make the part anymore and the chrome **** slides in and out by design.
You just need a spring long enough to move the chrome **** move back out after you press it. You do not need a very strong spring. I used a spring from a old pen and it works fine.
