Default 2011 Caravan have to press power window switch multiple times to go up/down

Help! I bought this van 2 years ago and knew it has this problem, but I got it on a good deal right at start of pandemic and just planned on fixing it myself. I'm not a mechanic, but savvy enough to fix simple things like this. The door panel has removed and work attempted before me, probably by the car lot guys where I bought it...maybe they were trying to fix this problem too and gave up or just put it back together once I inquired about the vehicle and subsequently went and bought it. This problem is only on my front driver's side door. The window will go up and down, BUT I have to press the switch multiple times (about 4-5 times) to get it all the way down, and then same again to get it all the way back up. I'm seeing some videos regarding problems with "auto up/down", but I'm not sure if that applies in this case or not.
SO what I've done up until this point----
(1) I have replaced the window regulator, that didn't fix it.
(2) Next step (and is where I'm at right now), I just replaced the front left door control module, still not fixed. There are several connecting ports unused, I just put back in in the same ports that were being used...but maybe someone previously put the connectors back in wrong spot...????
(3) I've attempted to do window switch reset procedure for it, that didn't fix it...but I'm not 100% convinced I'm doing the procedure correctly.
Anyone ever heard of this exact problem and/or what steps to take next? Thanks in advance!
It's a minor issue, but sure is getting old and annoying!
