Default Dodge 2007 grand caravan. Just put new alternator and battery light came back on afte

So my battery came on and I barely made it home, everything start shutting off. I checked to see if it was the alternator by taking off the cord off the battery it went right off so we went and put a new alternator in it today. Went to McDonald's it was fine.
Otw the way home a few hours later, the battery light came back on and all of a sudden a whining noise followed, as if it's coming from the belt area? Got home and looked, I mean the belt seems to be on just fine. But when I cranked it again and it's still making that whining noise.
Any ideas of what to do here?? I've done just about all I can...

Sounds like a pulley is seizing up. Try removing the belt and see if the noise goes away. If it does, there is a pulley going bad.

Okay I'll be checking that out! Thanks. So if it is that, that could be the cause of the battery light coming back on? It was just odd it ran perfect right after putting the new alternator on, but hours later it comes back on.
