Default Loose resonator fitting at throttle body. How tight or snug should it be?

I have a 2017 Grand Caravan with 126k on the clock. I recently noticed a P0138 code after swapping out the bank 1 1-2 o2 sensors. Since I want to avoid replacing the cat if at all possible I went looking around to see what could be causing the issue possibly upstream. Came across the joint between the resonator and the throttle body seems... Loose? I don't know, it slides on and off with ease and I'm not sure if that should be like that. Seems like a lot of air could just be sucking in through there and maybe tripping up the ratios. It also has somewhat uneven response when on the road, at low speeds it can be a little sluggish which makes me think it's running lean. Full disclosure I am NOT a mechanic, I tinker here and there and have rebuilt a few motorcycles and minor stuff to my previous 2007 Grand Caravan (RIP 267,586 miles) so a lot of the assumptions I'm making are really just that, semi educated guess. If anyone has any insight or ideas I would appreciate it, thanks in advance.
