[5th Gen : 08+]: Extended crank(inconsistent) when warm
Hello I have a 2011 dodge grand caravan 3.6L which I purchased with 89k (Canada)
Problem: inconsistent extended crank when the car is warmed up (happens about 8/10 times. This only happens after I shut off then try to re start the car. If I leave it overnight for 5+hours it always starts fine.
Maintenance done- fuel pump bypass at TIPMChanged spark plugs (had multiple cylinder misfire code when I purchased it) pulled out old champion brand plugs and put it laser factory equivalent plugs, this fixed the multiple cylinder misfire code.
Checked compression at the time of doing plugs -150-155 across the board.
Other important information- when I pulled out the old plugs they were drenched in fuel (all 6 electrode part).
I did plugs and compression about 4 months ago and since then the extended crank is still there, however I slowly noticed that I'm getting a slight misfire at idle now.
Thanks for help.
