Our 2016 Grand caravan was having many issues including stalling, shifting at 2-2.5 grand, rough idle, hard start…and the list goes on. We replaced a few parts and quickly settled on PCM being the issue when the computer we hooked up said the van thought the engine temp was -82 degrees. We bought a refurbished pcm that was supposed to have been programmed with our VIN. Got it yesterday and van still won’t start. Gives us 3 codes now and has a red light next to the brake ligh on the dash blinking. I believe this to be the security light.

so my question is does anyone know if the 2016 has a SKIM that needs to be bypassed or reprogrammed for our key?
could the “new”PCM still need to be programmed with our VIN?
many other ideas?

why dont you get a cheap scanner from Amazon and scan it. ? Kingbolen is 100$ - full scanner and makes keys too ...
