After setting 3- 4 days 30 deg temps my 2018 caravan acts as if the battery is dead, but after charging at 10 amps for 5 minutes will start. The battery is less than a year old any ideas ?

 

Bad battery. Get it load tested. Could be a bad cell.

I checked the alternator with a VAT 45, before replacing with this battery (under warranty).

 

Bought a brand new battery once. 3 days later it was dead. Bad cell. Don't discount the simple things.

I tested it this morning and it tested bad it was two weeks past a year old , Thats two batteries in three years
I got it replaced this morning No charge!!
I guy at the parts store said they have a failure rate of 1 out of 20
In really wonder if these AGM batteries are worth the trouble.
