'94 Grand Caravan 3.3L: Water pump bolt broke!
Recently my serpentine belt fell off and got caught in the water pump, tearing up the belt and de-stabilizing the wheel on the water pump.
This led to a large coolant leak; any coolant poured into the radiator cap immediately spewed out of the water pump area.
I removed the belt, drained the coolant, and detached the water pump. Unfortunately, while screwing off the 5 bolts on the water pump, one of them broke:
The red arrow points to the bolt that is broken and lodged in the housing.
Is it possible to proceed without getting this one out, perhaps adding extra gasket material? I know it's not ideal; but I fear the cost of labor in attempting to remove it will be great.
Thanks in advance!
