Car is a 3.8l 2008 caravan.
After filling up coolant (way too much!!!) the hose connected to the Y connector exploded under the car !
The hose is used for the heating system that is not needed here with our hot weather.
Is it possible to bypass this hose ? To order it would cost quite a lot here in Tahiti.

The plan would be to close both ends with a silicone cap.

Any suggestions ?
