I Have at a 2008 v6 4.0 Caravan with a Bad Converter I believe it’s this issue because the Exhaust Fumes smell a little Funny and she’s WASTING GAS like cRaZy practically 10 MPG on the Highway and I keep rpm’s low as possible. I’m trying to get a new converter but they’re backlogged on those parts.——Does anyone think I can possibly get mine refurbished?? Buy the part off a 3.6 or 3.8 caravan?? Or get an Off brand DIY OFF of PartsGeek??

 

Have you done any diagnostics before just throwing parts at it? Scanned for codes? who have you checked for the converter? There are plenty online and probably at your local parts stores.
