[5th Gen : 08+]: How to run Actuator Tests
Hello All,
I have a 2015 Dodge Caravan SXT, that is currently having an Actuator issue with the Blend door, or something along those lines.. Symptoms -- Flashing rear defrost light for sometime after starting or unlocking the door. Previously I had this issue and replaced the hot/cold blend door on the passenger side and was good, so I assumed it was the same thing this time as the issues seemed identical (Issues changing from hot / cold on passenger side.) So I replaced the actuator again, but still having the flashing light issue... Temp seems to change fine when running, all other options seem to be working as expected as well, so not sure where the issue is at the moment...
I've read there is ways to use Bidirectional OBD2 devices to run individual actuator tests, so was wondering if there's any App out there that can perform these tests using one of those Bluetooth OBD2 devices? Not looking to spend a couple hundred on a device if I don't need too..
Any advise?
