Hey! It's my first time on these forums, so sorry if I'm difficult at all.
This is a 2003 dodge caravan with about 65,000 miles (it was a mail van) I had to leave it at work but I can get the exact mileage in an hour or so. It's a 3.3
The vehicle has had electrical drain problems for some time now. I've had to replace the battery twice in 6 months 😬 I think the current one might be done too.
I charged the battery overnight, and am hoping it's that, but we jumped the car to no avail.
A Few times, after the battery has died, I have needed to start it in neutral. This does not seem to be working this time around.
It has a new starter, new spark plugs, new ignition coil, relay, the transmission valve body has been replaced.
No engine codes, (it does p1684 but that's just the battery has been disconnected, and it gives that code even when working lol) no crank, just one click when I attempt to start it.
The check engine light blinks which I understand to be sign of misfire, but that's after I try to start it. The solid red light is there but only while I'm actively turning the key.
I am going to head up to the vehicle now.
What should I check?
EDIT: The battery, despite being fully charged, did not work. The dash lights and head lights work, but when I turn the key, I hear one click.
