Caravan SLIDER DOOR TRIM LH FLOOR CAP, 1083501AA

CHRYSLER Grand Caravan GT 2019 SLIDER DOOR TRIM LH /RH FLOOR CAP, 1083501AA, 1083512AA, 1083520AA. Can anyone tell me what this is for and how to put it back? I removed my middle row seats for a long 2 week 3500 mile trip and used the bins for storage and less weight. Putting everything back this part (3 pieces) sits under the floor trim, in the middle of the two seat bins. I cant figure out what is for and how it works? Does it slide? What for?
