[5th Gen : 08+]: 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT misfiring
My wife’s 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT began misfiring a couple months ago. No dash indicator lights came on and no codes were present. I eventually changed the oil, air filter, and added some injector cleaner to see if that would fix it. It still persisted. A couple weeks ago on a longer trip it had a 10 second bout of misfires with the check engine light flashing for a moment. I found code P0201 when we got home. Looking at it the next day I drove it a couple miles and it started constantly misfiring. When I got it home it had code P0301. I took off the intake manifold and took out the #1 & #3 fuel injectors. Multimeter showed #3 had 12.6 Ω while the #1 had 0. I bought a new $125 injector and replaced the #1. Ran it around the block and figured I had it solved. It quickly developed an occasional misfire again and today had a long enough bout to kick out code P0306. Before I go through the trouble of taking the intake off again, can someone give advice on what to check/clean/replace? Right now, I’m thinking verify the resistance on all the injectors, change out all the spark plugs, and test the coils. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
