[5th Gen : 08+]: Dodge caravan noise on cold start
2017 Dodge caravan noise on cold start.
When you cold start the vehicle after letting it sit for like 8 hours it makes odds noise. The colder it gets the louder and more noticeable. And when it gets really cold it changes to a whining noise. I've attach 2 videos. One video is the typically noise on cold start and the other is when it's really cold the whining noise.
Dealership thought it was as transmission pump and spend $2300 on that and no luck and then they replaced it again and no luck again. So don't think it's that.
Any ideas?

I don't know if your year has the same problem as my 2005 Caravan. My power steering fluid reservoir has an internal screen/filter that gets clogged up making the power steering pump have to work harder to pump the fluid. The sound in your video sounded much like mine did. But my whining eventually was pretty much all the time even when warmed up. I replaced the reservoir and all the whine was gone. A pretty simple fix.
