RHB16 Uconnect Update
Hello,
Is it safe for a user to update firmware of the RHB16 HFM with approved update?
I have found posts of people who say they bricked their units, not many people but enough to make me wait.
Since unit is from 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT there are no new units if I brick it.
Buying used model would cost as well as then paying dealer to change vin and security of a used unit to work in my Van.
Then I read if I brick it the dealer might be able to fix it using wiTech 2 but not always.
The firmware update is needed as it is affecting calls, chimes and nav where I dont hear them.
Advice and knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
