09 caravan se 3.3l base model

​​​​​​I am jumping the starter relay (30/87) and it cranks but won't start with the key in the on position.

​​​​​I was hoping to install a pushbutton as a backup because the win module has just started being less than reliable, picking and choosing when it will crank.

I did remove the module today, clean it and put it back in and no change.
​​It is a backup vehicle and I'm trying to avoid replacing the module and keys if possible.

Any tips or tricks before I have to bite the bullet??
