Sorry if this has been addressed before, buy my wife's '14 Grand Caravan R/T won't shift. Goes fwd, reverse, park, neutral no problem (kicks a little going into reverse), but driving it, it'll do about 40 mph at 3k rpms. I can push it more, but don't want to.
Hooked up a scan tool and got code 1745, the scan tool app said to replace the fluid pressure sensor. Did that. No change in performance and rescan still says to replace the sensor I just replaced.
I read somewhere that this code needs a dealer software reset. Is this correct, and is there any way to get around the dealer? Closest Dodge dealer is 50 miles away, and I don't want to travel that far in a car that's stuck in 2nd gear. TIA
