[8D] Hi all. Got a 96 Caravan here, and lately it just stalls for nothing. retreived obd 11 code from onboard diagnostic, giving me a code 43. Changed coil, was ok for 1 week. After i get it started, it runs on just 1 cyl it seems. Any help would be appreaciated. ty[:@]

What engine do you have?

 

Hi, it is a 3 litre engine, 167,000 km on it. I am in the process of installing a new fuel pump as of wednesday. Hope this does the trick

 

If you have time check your compression, those 3 litres water pump leaks and sometimes causes the the timing belt to jump. Before replacing parts I would verify if your losing spark or fuel pressure when condition is present. Ive seen some odd things with these minivans including the flywheel cracking causing it to flex and miss.

 

Thanks, i am installing a fuel pump today. Hope it does the trick. Fuel pump was not sounding good after it stalled, turned ign key on, was not sounding too good, will keep you posted on whatever happens .[sm=gears.gif][sm=thanx.gif]
