Does anyone know why Dodge failed to put a tachometer in a 94 caravan? I thought that a tachometer was almost a required feature in a manual transmission vehicle.

They offered them as an option to save money. Many places sell cheap, small aftermarket tachs that work great.

My 99 with the 3.3L redlines at 6000 R.P.M., but it's a six-cylinder.
