Hi,
I´ve got a 1996 Grand Caravan. The airbag and cruise control are not working. I´ve had the steering wheel off and found that there is some sort of bundle winded round the bolt, looks almost like a strap. Please excuse my poor explanation but english is not my native language.
Anyway I´ve tested the circuits and found one not functioning. Could this be it? If so what will I be forced to replace? The whole kit? Where can I find it and how much does it cost?
I would also be very grateful if someone could tell me where to find diagnostic software for the car. I´ve tried ESItronic but it could only diagnos the European version of Chrysler Grand Voyager.

The part you are referring to is the clockspring and it has a lifetime warranty under a recall. Go to the dealer and get it replaced for free.
