can anybody tell me what to look for in buying one of these vans as we would like to really get one and is there any major problems anybody can think of with these vans

 

If you live in the snow belts, just brakes and front suspension stabilizer bar links. The transmissions are better than ever. Stay away from the 2.4L short wheel base vans though.

 

2005 was the first year for Stow n' Go. Did that system have any teething issues?

I'll be able to help more in the future. It'll be very interesting to see how the reliability of the Chrysler and Dodge vans really compares to Honda, Toyota, etc. My initial sense is that the Honda's reliability isn't as good as many people think.
