Seat Belt Chime 2005 Caravan SXT
Well, I've looked and looked, but can't find anything on disabling the seat belt chime in the Caravan. I know Ford has a way of disabling it on their cars/trucks. Does anyone know if it can be done and/or provide a link or some info? It is REALLY annoying when you go through a drive-thru, or are waiting for someone, or car wash, etc. etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Annoying huh? I dont usually wear them while road testing-its only for a mile or so and I usually get out mid drive to look around at the car I'm working on. Drives me nuts-no you can't dissable it. Thanks Uncle Sam.
YEA! I picked up the owner's manual today (it was originally missing) and found out how to do it. It takes some patience, but it can be done. The chime still sounds when you forst start the vehicle (if the seat belts aren't on) but once you start driving, only the light blinks, no chimes. It's similar to Ford's setup - start with it buckled, turn key to run, then unbuckle/buckle 3 times in 60 seconds, leave buckled turn off and voila!
