I have a 97 dodge caravan with a 3.0 engine. It has 210,000 on it and leakes oil like a seive. I was given a 3.0 engine and was told it was a 89 model. I would like to rebuild the 89 and swap the engines, is it possible? First how can I ID the engine and second what are the differences between the years. Will the block work? Are the heads different? ECT... you get the picture. Any help would be great.
