Hey ya'll........I'm a newbie who seems to be frequenting Dodge Grand Caravan problem sites more and more lately! Here's the prob. Have an '01 Gran Caravan , and today I was cleaning up the van today and listening to the radio while doing it, then the radio cuts off. I then get a bad feeling, go to start 'er up, and it won't start. It tried to turn over for a split second but then started clicking like crazy. I left it off for a few more sec's,but it would click without even the slight turnover. This has happened before, took it into the dealer, who said it was a looose wire, and they replaced it. This was two months ago, but I feel that it is not a loose wire, as if this was the case, it would not even try to turn over. The worst part is the van right now is 30 km.s away from the dealer, and I will try to get thme to cover the bill for breakdown and tow. wish me luck, but does anyone have any ideas as to what might have happened ? Bad battery, an if it was clicking with out u turning your key you might have damaged the starter.. btw Welcome to the site !
