yeah, I didnt change the millage number, i´m not interested on that. but here in argentina the law is not as strict as in the US.
but tell me something greg, what happens with people that has powerful cars as BMW M3, FERRARIS, MERCEDES AMG, DODGE VIPER, ETC? Do they respect the max speed at the roads?

 

generally, but i raced a bmw 7 series the other day in my moms '00 Grand Caravan Sport 3.3, he beat me (just by a little), but i didn't let out until around 107mph, lol

most of the 'high-end' owners if & when they open it up its on an mostly empty road, its the ricers that'll do 80mph in the middle of a city, or school zone

i generally wait for an open road to cut it loose

just a stock 108,000miles 3.3, running synthetic oil, Fram AirHog (same as K&N) drop in replacement filter, NGK G-Power plugs, & a DynoMax UltraFlow muffler

now he was about 2-3 car lengths ahead of me by 100mph, but he couldn't shake me off of his tail!!!!

well the fastest i've ever had hers was 110mph (in a 40 shh!! it was at 1am), i've had mine up to 120mph

& 3.3s were rated 158horsepower '96-'00. stock 0-60 in in low 11's i beleive, i'll try to gtech (well its a belltronics meter) moms one night, cuz i forget what it said 0-60, i know it said it ran 17.47, which i beleive is off, cuz moms vans doesn't feel that fast, but ohwell

in the garage where they put the turbo, they told me that taking off the speed limit the van has to reach 140 miles. 4100 RPM
next month they told me they´ll do it. the thing is that i´ll need a parachutte tho brake that thing. From 0-62 Mph in 8.2 sec. is not agressive,but as i told you i can´t do much in the first gears because of the transmission that may blow into pieces, And also has very big wheels. i suppose that if i had kept the original wheels 15"all the first gear would burn them. The good thing does it from 70 miles. that the turbo is charging good preassure, it reaches very fast 120 MPH.

 

i wish i could come down there & go for a ride in it!!!

you can get those trannies built up, with shorter final drive gears & posi units, higher stall torque converters, & kevlar clutch packs

The thing I would be concerned about with the A604 is too hard of a launch on a stock a604.

The intrepid guys (with their stronger a606) have found better trans reliability by making soft launches then hitting it up with more nitros or whathave you. Believe one guy is using something minor like a 40 shot at launch then a 75 shortly after to make it easier on the trans.

At the very least you'd want diff pin stoppers, the '98 & newer rear carrier, a better TC and the 5 pinion planetaries before I would feel comfortiable doing a hard launch under boost.
