Highbeams Problem

Highbeams Problem
Hello Everyone
I've got a 1995 3.3L V6 Dodge Caravan SE
My highbeams stay on, indicator stays lit on the information center, but the switch to turn off highbeams does not respond. Everytime i turn off the engine my battery is drained within minutes so i have to disconnect the battery all the time, secondly i dont know if its related, my engine temperature gauge is flinging around all the time and check gauges light keeps beeping everytime it goes up, i know my engine temp is fine, its just something with the wiring. I checked all the fuses everything seems to be ok.
Anyone help me out ? Any ideas ?
