My friend from work has a 91 Plymouth Voyager. The hood latch spring is simply gone. I don't know how either. Where can I go to find another hood latch for him outside of a junk yard.

A dealership might be able to order one, but a junkyard or someone parting out an early 90's van on ebay or someplace like that is probably your only other option if you have an aversion to a junkyard

 

I just went out and looked at my old 94GC (which i believe has the same hood latch mechanism) and checked it. I almost think you could get them at a hardware store. The actual catch spring and the cable spring look fairly common to match up. The safety latch spring might be a little more difficult to find, but I almost think a rear break drum spring could be adapted to make that one if one can't be matched up. Hope this helps.
