Removing Interior Door Trim Panel and Power Window -99Caravan
Hi,
May I get some help in removing the passenger door interior trim panel?
I have a 99 Gr Caravan with power windows, power door locks, and dual air conditioner with a air duct inside the door panel. I have a Chilton Repair Manual and it only shows procedures for the panel with manaul window and manual door lock.
I took all the screws at the door handle, top of the panel above the doo lever, the front of the duct. I popped all the plastic trim clips. I did not see anything in the door lever and power switch area or anything thing elses that I can remove. I am able to lift the back side of the panel but not the front as if something or another screw is still attached. I want to force and break the lever.
Any insight is greatly apprecaited.
BTW, the reason I want to remove it is to check out the power window motor and regulator. It would work once, Like lowering it and the it would stuff despite using the passenger side switch or the master switch on the driver side. Once I waited, (like it is cool off), it wold work again. The symtoms exists in hot afternoon beofre and now would occurs in cooler morning as well.
Thanks for any advice,
Tony
